In 2020, at the age of 20, I left drama school into the jaws of a worldwide pandemic. Although the grief and effects of this crazy era are still affecting the world in different ways today, the bulk of that craziness was in that dreaded three year period. Long story short, artists banded together and found ways to survive and thrive… a bit like how Simon Pegg’s character survived the apocalypse in ‘Shaun of The Dead’.

As I’ve been refreshing my website in 2025, at this point in the game… I thought a few people who didn’t follow what I was doing back then might be wondering what I did during 2020 - 2023. I may not have garnered traditional workplace experience as an actor in those years, but I was a part of a selection of very special online events.

Here you go.

May theatre continue to burn bright.

P.S.

If you watch ‘King Lear’ online also by the Actors Support Network (Support British), you will spot the incredible Rory Kinnear, who’s work I’ve now fully come to appreciate through several watches of Russell T. Davies ‘Years and Years’ and ‘James Bond’. Although I wasn’t in ‘King Lear’, it was John’s magnificent effort that brought all those productions together, and it does truly show actors of all levels of experience uniting to do what they love.
